Nipple Correction

Nipple Correction

Nipple correction surgically improves the size, shape or projection of the nipple whether the result of the natural appearance or due to changes resulting from pregnancy or aging.

Incisions to reduce nipple size, to correct projection, or to reconstruct the nipple are inconspicuously placed at the base of the nipple in the areola, the dark skin surrounding the nipple.

Generally outpatient, under local anaesthesia with sedation, a nipple correction may require an overnight stay when combined with other procedures.

Recovery depends on the extent of your nipple correction and any other procedures you may undergo at the same time. You can generally return to normal daily activities within 1-2 days.

Results can be long-term, but any changes to the size or shape of your breast that may result from additional surgery, pregnancy or weight gain or loss, may influence your results.
