Buttock Lift reshapes sagging, flat buttocks or loose skin around the buttock, and may reduce or reposition fat to create a more natural rounded derriere.
A Buttock Lift may be appropriate if you have trouble reshaping your buttock despite exercise or weight loss, or if you have lost a significant amount of weight and wish to reduce excess sagging skin.
A buttock lift may have incisions hidden in a thong or bikini pattern, or along the natural curve of the lower buttock crease. If liposuction or fat redistribution is involved, this can be accomplished without additional incisions.
Generally outpatient, under general anesthesia, a buttock lift may require an overnight stay when combined with other procedures.
Recovery depends on the extent of your procedure. Light activity can be done the day after your surgery, a return to more normal activity may take 2-3 weeks. A light compression garment may be recommended during your recovery to help reduce fluid retention and shape your new curves.
Results can be long-term, but weight loss/gain or pregnancy may alter your appearance.
