G-Glow
G-Glow is a multimodal facial rejuvenation protocol developed for smoothing out facial wrinkles and textural irregularities, and addressing pigmentation issues such as sun damage, spider veins, blemishes and skin redness. This protocol combines two energy based modalities, fractional laser and pulsed light that we combine to deliver optimal results.
The G-Glow protocol
Fractional laser for skin resurfacing
Fractional erbium and thulium lasers, operating at two different wavelengths, deliver microscopic laser columns deep into the dermis to create tiny wounds that trigger your body’s natural response system to heal those wounds. Fractional lasers are designed to treat a fraction of the skin with each passing. This helps the skin to recover more quickly while stimulating cell turnover and collagen remodeling for a firmer, younger-looking, and more evenly toned and textured outcome
Fractional laser treatment delivers the potency of ablative treatments with the gentle safety of non-ablative lasers, so you get the best of both worlds, dramatic results and less downtime.
Picosecond Pulse Light laser for pigmentation and skin blemishes
We use a picosecond pulsed light laser to create an intense photothermal impact in trillionths of a second. This high intensity flash of light is emitted at three different wavelengths, specifically to target the chromophore for better clearance in fewer treatments. This makes it ideal for treatment of pigmentary conditions. The laser is selectively absorbed by and breaks up pigment particles, which are then eliminated by the body’s immune system. The treatment will gradually erase brown spots, sun damage, melasma, acne marks, freckles and tattoos on the face and body. The advanced technology spares the skin high thermal damage, resulting in minimal discomfort or downtime.
The Treatment Process
The protocol involves three treatment sessions, one of fractional laser and two of pulsed light. Discomfort is minimal – there may be mild snapping sensations and heat. Redness and minor swelling occur temporarily after treatment.
Results
Following the fractional laser swelling there will be some redness and swelling for a couple of days and old damaged skin will then be shed leaving you with the youthful glow of new skin.
Results should be noticeable within the first week following treatment and improve progressively.
